The Big Jay Graduate Assistant Award of Excellence

The Big Jay Graduate Assistant Award of Excellence recognizes a graduate assistant/intern who excels in their position and demonstrates a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of KU Student Affairs.

Criteria 

  • Has been enrolled in a graduate program and maintained a graduate assistantship/internship within Student Affairs for at least one semester.
  • Must be in good standing, including academic and student conduct. Staff on performance improvement plans at the time of nomination are not eligible.
  • Has made significant contributions to their department, Student Affairs, the University of Kansas, and/or the profession.
  • Has demonstrated a clear commitment to the mission, vision, and values of KU Student Affairs.
