The Baby Jay Award - recognizes a graduate student who has taken great strides to apply what they are learning in the classroom to their graduate assistantship and consistently exceeds the responsibilities of their position in a manner that enhances the mission, vision, and goals of KU Student Affairs. Criteria Must be a current graduate student working in a KU Student Affairs department. Not a KU full-time staff member. In good academic standing with the University. Demonstrates success in their role by willingly going the extra mile to provide the highest level of service to KU Student Affairs and the University. Reflects a professional and positive attitude when engaging with members of the KU community.
The Jayhawk Award - recognizes a full-time staff member who demonstrates a high level of dedication, initiative, and cooperation in their position responsibilities and provides exceptional service to all members of the KU community. Criteria Must be a full-time staff member (at all levels) in KU Student Affairs for at least three years. Displays commitment to advancing the mission, vision, and goals of KU Student Affairs. Shows commitment to programming and/or process improvement that contributes to the development of students and enhancement of KU Student Affairs. Collaborates with individuals from multiple departments and/or divisions to implement solutions that better serve students. Demonstrates success in their role by willingly going the extra mile to provide the highest level of service to KU Student Affairs and the University. Reflects a professional and positive attitude when engaging with members of the KU community.

The Rock Chalk Award - recognizes a full-time staff member who has consistently exceeded the responsibilities of their position in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to student success and advances the mission, vision, and goals of KU Student Affairs. Criteria Must be a full-time staff member (at all levels) in KU Student Affairs for three years or less. Displays initiative and self-motivation. Contributes innovative and useful ideas which improve department operations or cross-functional areas and support student success. Demonstrates success in their role by willingly going the extra mile to provide the highest level of service to KU Student Affairs and the University. Reflects a professional and positive attitude when engaging with members of the KU community.
The Crimson & Blue Award - recognizes a full-time staff member who consistently demonstrates outstanding leadership and commitment to KU Student Affairs and the University community. Regardless of position or title, the recipient of this award has significantly contributed to the success of KU Student Affairs and demonstrated a commitment to making learning possible. Criteria Must be a full-time staff member (at all levels) in KU Student Affairs for at least three years. Demonstrates outstanding leadership and commitment to students and colleagues. Advances the goals of the University and KU Student Affairs by developing innovative solutions to pressing challenges. Makes demonstrable positive impact on the work of KU Student Affairs. Demonstrates success in their role by willingly going the extra mile to provide the highest level of service to KU Student Affairs and the University. Reflects a professional and positive attitude when engaging with members of the KU community.
