Sara Lee

As Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost for Student Affairs, Sara supports the daily operations of the Office of the Vice Provost through calendar management, event planning, and general office coordination. In this role, she serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and helps to ensure the smooth execution of office initiatives that support the KU student experience.

Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Arkansas Tech University. Originally from Northwest Arkansas, she returned to the area after college where she spent five years teaching middle school students at a public charter school. With a long-standing passion for working with students, she has found the transition to higher education both fulfilling and inspiring. Sara joined the KU Student Affairs team in 2025. Rock Chalk!
