Mataia Gales

Mataia Gales is the Assistant Director for Student Senate Leadership Development within the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs. 
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a marketing communications concentration and an accounting minor from Emporia State University. Previously, Gales was the Administrative Assistant for the Vice Provost for Student Affairs office for 5 years. 
Prior to coming to KU, she worked for the Job Corps Outreach and Admissions in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She returned to Kansas to be closer to family and friends prior to joining KU Student Affairs.
