Ricky Pulley, Jr., Named KU Student Affairs March Employee of the Month


Congratulations to the March Student Affairs Employee of the Month: Ricky Pulley, Jr.!

Ricky serves as a prevention and response coordinator in the Sexual Assault Prevention & Education Center (SAPEC). As prevention and response coordinator, Ricky splits his time serving the KU community on the Lawrence and Edward campuses facilitating violence prevention education for staff, faculty, and graduate students.

In the words of his nominator, Taylor Jones, prevention educator in SAPEC: “Ricky collaborates with endless departments, meeting them on their level of interest and responsibility to community safety. He does a tremendous job of connecting the needs of the community to each unique individual, allowing them to see themselves in the work and commit to collective approaches to violence prevention. Ricky does all of this while carrying the most vibrant spirit and utmost regard for each community he connects with. We are grateful to have someone like Ricky who [embodies and strengthens] KU’s values.”
