KU Counseling & Psychological Services Announces Expanded Mental Health Support Through the Mantra Care Hub

LAWRENCE — KU Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) has partnered with Mantra Health to expand access to mental health and wellness support for students. The Mantra Care Hub is a digital gateway to flexible, school-sponsored care — available at no additional cost to KU students.

“We are excited to announce this premier, new partner for mental health resources. Mantra’s Care Hub serves as a perfect complement to our existing services,” said Dr. Chris Corbett, director of CAPS. “One of KU's priorities is supporting Healthy and Vibrant Communities. This partnership is an important part of that effort, and I encourage all students to download the app and explore its resources.”

Through the Care Hub, students can access:

  • ConnectNow: in-the-moment support via phone or text 24/7, or by video from 11am–11pm CT — no appointment needed.
  • Self Care: short, self-guided courses for managing stress, building better habits, and improving emotional wellness.
  • Therapy: one-on-one virtual sessions with licensed therapists.

Students can visit mantrahealth.com/ku or download the app on Apple or Android to create an account using their university email address. If students have questions about the services or have trouble accessing their account, they can contact Mantra Health at hi@mantrahealth.com or call 800-464-2083.

CAPS continues to provide a range of services to support Jayhawk mental health and well-being. More information about CAPS’s offerings can be found at caps.ku.edu
