Megan Lowry Named KU Student Affairs July Employee of the Month

Congratulations to the July Student Affairs Employee of the Month: Megan Lowry!

Megan serves as a communications coordinator in the Health Education Resource Office (HERO). In her role, she supports brand identity, marketing, social media and website management, and photography for Watkins Health Services and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Megan also supports HERO's programming and campaign efforts by contributing design and photography expertise.

In the words of her nominator, Jenny McKee, associate director of HERO: “[During the spring semester], Megan worked very closely with CAPS on their signature event, Hope on the Hill, which included many moving parts. [She also] made herself available to take student headshots for University Award winners and Community Health students preparing for [upcoming internships]. The organization it takes to schedule these photos, along with the additional labor of editing, made her already busy days, so much more so. Regardless of the task at hand, no one is more at the ready to help than Megan.”

Megan, KU Student Affairs recognizes and celebrates your efforts, commitment, and valuable impact on the KU community. Thank you for all you do to make learning possible!
