The Crimson and Blue Impact Award

The Crimson and Blue Impact Award recognizes a full-time staff member whose work has had a lasting and positive impact on students’ experiences. Through innovative programs, services, or initiatives, the individual demonstrates an unwavering dedication to meeting the needs of all students, ensuring their success both inside and outside the classroom.  

Criteria 

• Must be a full-time staff member (at all levels) in KU Student Affairs with at least one year of service.
• Must be in good standing. Staff on performance improvement plans at the time of nomination are not eligible.
• Leads or contributes to efforts that positively impact students’ academic, personal, and professional success.
• Proactively seeks solutions to student challenges and implements initiatives that advance the mission and vision of Student Affairs.
• Serves as an advocate for students’ needs in all aspects of their work.
