Mx. Morelle "Mo" Maddox

As Director for Student Affairs Communications, Mx. Morelle Maddox coordinates communications between KU Student Affairs and its 14 units, as well as to the larger KU community. 

Maddox received their bachelor's degree in journalism with a strategic communications concentration and a film minor from the University of Kansas. During his time as an undergraduate student, Maddox worked at the University Daily Kansan as their digital operations editor, and at the KU School of Music and KU Endowment as a communications associate.

After graduating from KU, Maddox became the marketing communications manager for the National Association of Collegiate Esports in Kansas City, Missouri, after previously freelancing as a videographer, video game journalist, and graphic designer. Maddox joined KU Student Affairs in 2022.
