Biography —
Dr. Kevin Joseph joined KU Student Affairs in 2015. As Assistant Vice Provost, he provides overall leadership and direction for the Center for Sexuality and Gender Diversity, Assessment and Strategic Initiatives, Emily Taylor Center for Women and Gender Equity, and Office of Multicultural Affairs. He also coordinates the University Awards program and Student Affairs’ strategic approach to elevate diversity, equity, and social justice across all programs and services. Dr. Joseph previously served as Director of Assessment and Strategic Initiatives and Interim Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
Prior to KU, Dr. Joseph worked in student affairs assessment at Louisiana State University. He previously worked at MGT of America, Inc. as a Higher Education Analyst. In this role, he provided project leadership on consulting engagements, collaborated with college and university leaders on studies addressing students’ needs and experiences, and advised clients on human resources and business processes.
Dr. Joseph received his Ph.D. in higher education administration and a master’s degree in educational research methodology from Louisiana State University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master of business administration (MBA) from Florida A&M University.
