Biography

As the Program Coordinator, Caitlin works closely with the Executive Staff of Student Senate and student organizations to fulfill funding allocations for campus wide events and activities. 

Caitlin received her Master of Social Work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. During her practicum she spent time working with families and expectant mothers throughout the adoption process. After graduating, Caitlin worked as an adoption specialist for several years before transitioning to higher education. 

Caitlin began working in student engagement as a Student Activities Coordinator in which she worked with student organizations and the Student Government Association at a community college in Missouri. Previously, Caitlin was a Career Counselor before joining KU Student Senate in 2024.
