Cierra Roberson Named KU Student Affairs September 2025 Employee of the Month

Congratulations to the September Student Affairs Employee of the Month: Cierra Roberson!

Cierra serves as Associate Director of Student Community Programs in the Student Engagement Center (SEC). As Associate Director, Cierra oversees student organization support, non-traditional student support, and community-based programmatic efforts.

In the words of her nominator, Jordan Brandt, Director, SEC: “In navigating the changes in [their] position from the previous academic year to now, Cierra has stepped into her new role with patience and innovation, while being guided by research that supports student success through cocurricular involvement. [To date,] Cierra has restructured the student organization registration process, reengaged organization advisors, led the relaunch of KU Engage (formerly known as Rock Chalk Central), and provided creative direction and programming for the SEC’s inaugural ‘Reach Week.’”
