Allison Engel Named KU Student Affairs May 2025 Employee of the Month
Congratulations to the May Student Affairs Employee of the Month: Allison Engel!
Allison is a Senior Associate Director for External Relations in Sorority and Fraternity Life (SFL). As Senior Associate Director, Allison oversees key SFL partnerships, collaborating with Admissions, Alumni, KU Endowment, chapter advisors, house corporations, and house directors. She also advises the Interfraternity Council and supports SFL’s communication initiatives.
“This year everyone on the SFL staff is juggling the positions we were hired into [with] providing support to a council and chapters," said Kari Murphy, Director of SFL. "With grace, [Allison] has risen to the challenge. She has leaned into providing consistent and intentional space for our chapter advisors to gather, discuss current trends, share SFL updates, and support the bigger picture for our sorority and fraternity community. [Allison’s] reach makes learning possible for prospective Jayhawks, current students, and active alumni of KU.”
