Cortney Mays

Cortney Mays is a Graduate Assistant for Student Affairs at the University of Kansas. He is a graduate student at KU studying Higher Education Administration. Before joining Student Affairs, Cortney worked as a Technical Recruiter for Amazon Prime Video. He graduated from Morehouse College where he served as a student leader for multiple organizations. While at Morehouse, he studied Business Administration with a minor in Spanish. Cortney spends his free time working as a football and wrestling coach.

Cortney is a Kansas City native, a graduate from Lee’s Summit West High School. He plans to find a long-term home in the Jayhawks family after a successful assistantship and master’s degree program. Cortney is a lifelong Jayhawks fan, Rock Chalk!
