The Crimson and Blue Commitment to Equity Award

The Crimson and Blue Award is a new award that recognizes a staff member (at all levels) or department who has demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within their department, Student Affairs, and the University of Kansas community.

 
Criteria 

Has demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in consideration of ability, identity, and access within the KU community. 

Has developed innovative programs and/or initiatives in alignment with Student Affairs’ Crimson & Blue Initiative. 

Has promoted the advancement of equity and inclusion in daily work, policies, and/or practices. 

Has advocated for the interests of staff and/or student populations on the margins. 

Has demonstrated a clear commitment to the mission, vision, and values of KU Student Affairs.
