Mandatory Sexual Harassment Education and Prevention Training
The University of Kansas is committed to a safe environment where every community member (students, faculty, and staff) can pursue their education without interference. Sexual violence is one of the most unreported crimes on a college campus. Because the University is committed to preventing sexual violence a mandatory Sexual Harassment Education and Prevention Training is required annually for all students. Faculty and staff take a similar required training.

Who is required to take the training?
All students on the Lawrence and Edwards campuses must complete the training annually.
Why is KU requiring this training?
This training is in response to KU’s commitment to prevent sexual violence and to be certain students know where and how to report sexual violence. You can learn more about sexual violence here: http://sexualharassment.ku.edu. Additionally, all colleges and universities are being federally mandated to provide this training to students.

I don’t have a computer. Where can I find a computer on campus to use?
What is the deadline for taking this training?
Students will receive information via email from KU about how to access Sexual Harassment Training. It must be completed by December 1, 2016.
What happens if I do not complete the course by the deadline?
Failure to complete the training by the deadline will result in a hold on your record that will prevent enrollment.
I am having technical problems, what should I do?

Holds are removed automatically once every twenty-four hours. If you took the course more than 24 hours ago, contact 785-864-4653.
How will I know I have a hold?
If you have not completed the training by December 1, 2015, you will see the "SXH" hold , when you log into Enroll & Pay or MyKU.
