The Center's mission is to support community and campus partnerships that advance service-learning, community-engaged scholarship, and civic engagement to foster a commitment to participation for a diverse, just, and global society.


Graduate Assistant 50% (brief description) 

The Center for Service Learning recognizes the importance and impact of community and civic engagement with students. The graduate assistant will work with the Center staff to support a wide range of activities to assist in advancing community and civic engagement and service-learning at KU, including through the promotion of curricular, co-curricular, and scholarship activities. The GA will assist in advising several student service organizations—KU Alternative Breaks, KU Center for Community Outreach, MEDLIFE KU, Student United Way, LEAD UP, and the Student Community Service Council to implement outreach that informs KU students on the Pathways to Service; and brokers opportunities for community and civic engagement.
