Student Affairs Assists

Student Affairs strives to develop, facilitate and coordinate a university-wide program of care and support for students through Student Support and Case Management (SSCM) and the Student Care Referral Team (SCRT).

Together Student Support and Case Management and SCRT assist University of Kansas students, staff, faculty, and family members who have concerns about a specific student’s behaviors and/or well-being and do not know where to turn.

To refer a student, complete the online Care Referral form. A member of SCRT or Student Support and Case Management will reach out to you. The Care Referral form will request your evaluation of the level of concern. They pyramid on the right is provided to help guide you.

If the situation is an emergency, call 911 first and submit the Care Referral after you have engaged law enforcement or emergency medical providers.
