Stacey Swearingen White is a Professor of Urban Planning in KU’s School of Public Affairs and Administration. She began her academic career at KU in 1998, after completing her Ph.D. in Land Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2007, she helped establish the KU Center for Sustainability. Her research and teaching interests center on sustainable communities, the diffusion of sustainability-focused innovations at the local level, and campus sustainability.
