Steps in the Process

In order to apply to the Master’s in Higher Education Administration program at the University of Kansas, just follow these easy steps and see below for a full overview!

  1. Apply to the academic program electronically by January 10.
  2. Apply to the assistantship program electronically by January 10. 

                Note: International applicants and full-time employees are not required to apply for an assistantship.

  1. Hold February 20-21, 2020, on your calendar. Students admitted to the program, and selected by Assistantship Hiring Managers, will be invited to campus to interview for Graduate Assistantships on campus. Students will have the opportunity to interview with multiple Graduate Assistant sites. Higher Ed Interview Days Schedule
  2. All candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for Federal Work Study. Please contact Stephanie Covington in Financial Aid & Scholarships at scov@ku.edu.
