Kari Stone-Sewalish is the Assistant Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards in the Vice Provost for Student Affairs Office. In her role, Kari serves as a University hearing officer for non-academic misconduct where she is responsible for meeting with students for alleged policy violations, focusing on student learning and maintaining community standards. In addition to this work, Kari provides trainings on Bystander Education and assists in ongoing departmental assessment efforts.

Stone-Sewalish received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her master’s degree from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining the Student Conduct and Community Standards team, Kari served as a Complex Director for KU Student Housing.
